Through the model-making process for large-scale sculptures, Krawczyk discovered the intricate beauty of miniatures. These diminutive works of art are likewise striking, and create original sculptural accents for interiors. The power of a small piece in the right setting is as much of an artful statement as a monumental sculpture. Creating wall sculptures is an exciting undertaking. I enjoy the shadows and the negative space, as much as the actual sculpture. The goal for my work is to play all of these elements against each other, to bring the viewer in and out of color, shades and dimentions. Creating sculpture is my passion. Designing installation pieces is what it is all about for me. I love to change the feeling of an environment with the addition of large scale installations. One just has to look at Stonehenge to understand the impact of sculpture. Oversize sculpture is truly my first love, and the miniatures are captivating in there own way. Creating these Table Top renditions seems to be a happy medium between the two. They have also been quite successful for me. Take a look at some of the latest creations. Commission assignments are always challenging — and seem to bring out the most in me creatively. My latest creation, for the New Jersey Devil ’s, is something I’m very proud of.
